GKN Aerospace has appointed David Paja as its new CEO.
Paja joins GKN Aerospace from Aptiv plc, where he was president of the company’s advanced safety and user experience business. He began his career with Valeo SA, then spent 14 years in senior leadership positions within global engineering company Honeywell International, before moving to Aptiv plc.
He will succeed Peter Dilnot, who has been leading GKN Aerospace as Interim CEO since September 2020.
‘[Paja] has a proven track record of success in global engineering businesses and I am confident he will be an excellent leader for GKN Aerospace,’ said Dilnot, who will resume his ongoing role as COO.
