GKN reports thart Hans Büthker will become CEO of GKN Aerospace on 1st January 2018.
Hans Büthker is currently CEO of GKN Aerospace’s Fokker business. He will step up to the role after it was announced this month that GKN Aerospace’s current CEO, Kevin Cummings, will become CEO of GKN in January.
‘I am delighted that Hans will take on the role,’ said Nigel Stein, who retires as CEO of GKN at the end of 2017. ‘Fokker has been an excellent acquisition for GKN Aerospace and Hans has played a significant role in that success.’
Hans Büthker joined GKN when it acquired Fokker in 2015, having worked in a variety of roles in Fokker and its former owners Arle and Stork since 1997.
