Gasbarre Thermal Processing Systems has recently supplied a continuous vacuum furnace with 10 bar pressure quench capabilities to an aerospace manufacturer in North America.
The company said that the four position, four zone furnace is rated to 2400°F, and it features an independent load and quench modules which allow the heat module to hold temperature and vacuum, creating a pure environment. It also features quicker transference from the heat module to the cool module and fast quench capabilities, making it suitable for the processing of medium to high volume parts.
