3D printing company EOS has reportedly launched an online platform and LinkedIn Group for to help additive manufacturing (AM) companies combat Covid-19.
According to the company, the 3DAgainstCorona platform will include data, project information, and design files free to download and ready to print. The LinkedIn Group can be found here.
‘The current pandemic now calls for a joint approach, more than ever before,’ said CEO Marie Langer. ‘Today, we are asking all supporters to join us in tackling the challenges that lay ahead of us. Current activities range from filling critical needs, to helping repurpose existing equipment or providing rapid tooling for traditional manufacturing. And with a future perspective, digitize critical items to avoid future problems or shortages.’
