Cook Composites and Polymers Implements Price Increases

Cook Composites and Polymers will implement a price increase of $0.07-0.09 per pound for Reafree® powder coating resins, depending on chemistry. New prices will be effective for orders shipped on or after April 1, 2011. According to Chris White, director of sales for Cook Composites and Polymers' Coatings Division, the increase is a result of the continued escalation in feedstock pricing, which impacts the cost of raw materials such as neopentyl glycol (NPG), isophthalic acid (PIA) and terephthalic acid (PTA).
