Gero Hochtemperaturöfen GmbH, which has been manufacturing high-temperature furnaces in Germany for more than 30 years, was recently bought by Carbolite’s parent company, Verder Scientific.  As a result, Carbolite now offers a range of thermal equipment from general-purpose laboratory ovens with 250°C maximum temperatures up to the 3000°C Gero models.

The furnaces are available as chamber, top-hat and bottom-loading models as well as several horizontal and vertical tube configurations. Specialist applications include debinding and sintering following metal injection molding (MIM). Depending on the temperature range and application, the equipment uses graphite, molybdenum or tungsten heating elements.
