Sinterite installs custom pusher furnace

Sinterite, a Gasbarre Furnace Group Company, has installed a custom pusher furnace in Pennsylvania, USA.

The furnace is manually-operated and designed for continuous sintering of various material grade parts. It consists of two heat control zones and one cooling zone with a maximum operating temperature of 1800°F (982°C). This particular pusher furnace is unique because of the low operating temperature, the company claims. Typically, these types of furnaces are designed to operate up to 3000°F (982°C). Because of the customer’s specialized sintering process and lower temperature requirements, this furnace was customized to meet unique processing needs.

Sinterite designs, manufactures and services custom continuous belt and batch furnaces for sintering, brazing, annealing, steam treating, drying and heat treating applications.
