The S-200 Attritor features a stainless steel grinding tank with an ASME pressure rated stainless steel cooling jacket, which improves product temperature control. The tungsten carbide sleeved agitator arms provide wear resistance.
To meet the customer's requirement for low noise, an acoustic insulation jacket was added to the tank and a low-noise motor rated for 75 dbA was specified. The S-200 has a sealed cover and a pneumatically operated product discharge valve.
The control station features timer operation, high product temperature safety shut-off, and low-flow/no-flow cooling water safety shut-off.
