The programme, called the Leadership Connection, will educate professionals on how to:
- Leverage their ASTM membership and involvement on standards-developing committees to improve critical communications skills, strengthen conflict resolution, team building and negotiating skills;
- Gain leadership experience, improve organisational skills and familiarity with parliamentary procedures; and
- Interact directly with industry and government stakeholders and represent their company on standards-related issues and initiatives.
