America Makes director promoted to NCDMM role

Josh Cramer, director of education and workforce development at 3D printing organization America Makes, has been appointed to the same role in the National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM).

He will retain his America Makes position, the organizations said.

Cramer previously served as the director of educational programs at the SME Education Foundation and also worked at Project Lead the Way, a national non-profit focused on STEM, biomedical, and pre-engineering programming for teenagers.

In other news, Gino Spinos, who joined NCDMM in 2019 as the director of manufacturing engineering, has been promoted to executive director, where he will oversee project management activities across NCDMM. According to the center, Spinos has almost 30 years of technology, process, and manufacturing experience from industry and military perspectives.
