3D printing shortlisted for manufacturing award

The Realizer SLM-250 AM machine was bought to help improve the designs and capabilities of the filters the company develops. One year on, the results have led to Croft being shortlisted for the Innovation and Design and Small Enterprise of the Year categories.

“During the past year, we have strived to use additive manufacturing to drive innovation and design through research, development and investment,” said Neil Burns, Croft director. “Following our outlay in additive manufacturing, we now have the tools to continue developing our solutions to encourage further growth and a broader expertise of both the UK and overseas markets.”

The winners of The Manufacturer of the Year Awards 2014 will be announced at an awards dinner on 27 November.
