This year's winning paper is entitled "Joining of two-piece aluminum metal matrix composite (Al-MMC) transmission carrier via friction stir welding”, submitted by Logan Smith and Ian Donaldson, GKN Sinter Metals.
The paper is available for download on the MPIF website and will also included in Advances in Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials 2022, the PM organization said.
