Solukon and Authentise partner for metal postprocessing

Authentise, which makes data-driven workflow tools for additive manufacturing (AM), and depowdering specialist Solukon plan to integrate their software to improve 3D printing post processing.

Solukon’s Digital Factory Tool already integrates automated powder removal into an overall digital AM process by providing continuous documentation and real time monitoring and it can now be used with Authentise’s Manufacturing Execution System (aMES).

According to the companies, the integration of the Solukon powder removal environment will enable users to continue the powder to part genealogy using Authentise’s material traceability module. This will increase opportunities for improved postprocess inspection recording and recycling of recovered materials.

“Seamless data collection and interpretation throughout the entire production and postprocess is the only way to achieve a true production line in additive manufacturing,” said Andreas Hartmann, CEO and CTO of Solukon.
