Plant manufacturer SACMI has expanded its MPH range of powder metal presses.

According to the company, the new MPH150 is a CNC hydraulic press equipped with three upper and three lower auxiliary axes and a pressing force of 150 tons.

The press has no foundation pit, reducing the footprint and helping making the machine more compact, according to the company.  As well as this, the press’s speed can reportedly allow an increase in productivity up to 50% without any loss of precision and reliability.

Like all powder metal presses, the MPH150 machine is also equipped with an Assisted Programming Interface (API) that can reduce programming and setup times.
