Additive Industries says that it has 143 metal parts have been printed on its MetalFAB1 additive manufacturing (AM) machines to help create the C39 Alfa Romeo F1 racecar.
According to the company, the parts comprise 58 made of titanium, 19 of aluminium alloy and 66 of AlSi10Mg, with part types including chassis inserts, cooling circuit piping, safety structures, light weight fairings, and electronic and bodywork components.
