3D printer manufacturer VELO3D says that its print preparation software, Flow, can now be used to make a greater range of parts.

The software is suitable for Sapphire, VELO3D’s laser fusion metal additive manufacturing system. The company says that volume manufacturing of parts that are hard to print due to hard-to-remove support structures is now possible. It is possible to print low angles and overhangs below five degrees, as well as large inner diameters and tubes up to 40 mm without the need for supports.
