AM data added to software

Software company the Bassetti Group plans to use Senvol’s database of industrial additive manufacturing (AM) machines and materials as part of its TEEXMA for Additive solution.

According to the company, TEEXMA for Additive combines project management, materials, manufacturing, quality and knowledge management tools and processes in one interface, along with Senvol’s AM data.

‘As AM becomes more and more prevalent across industries, for items beyond prototyping and tooling, many companies are trying to investigate options and test the boundaries for mass AM production,’ a press release said. ‘This necessitates that they streamline and integrate their processes, software, tools, equipment and data in order to build and/or support a complete digital thread of product information.’
