Würth Additive CEO joins repair taskforce

The CEO of Würth Additive Group has joined a task force focusing on using additive manufacturing (AM) in auto repair.

AJ Strandquist is now part of the 3D Printing in Auto Collision Task Force, led by Harold Sears, an AM expert who was previously the manager of Ford Motor 3D Printing Solutions.

According to the company, 3D printing technology could help collision repair professionals produce complex parts on demand, reduce lead times, and improve repair accuracy. 3D printed parts can also minimize waste and streamline inventory management, Würth said.
