German materials science association DGM plans to run a webinar entitled ‘Introduction to metallic high-temperature materials’ featuring Plansee’s refractory metals.The webinar takes place from 12 May to 14 May 2020.
According to Plansee, high-temperature materials represent an important field of research in power engineering and mobility and new alloys such as refractory metals and intermetallic aluminides can be used for challenging applications.
During the webinar, the special characteristics of refractory metals will be discussed by Dr Wolfram Knabl, head of materials at Plansee.
