Wayland increases AM production

Wayland Additive says that it plans to increase production of its metal 3D printers.

The company reportedly has six machines in production currently and is pre-ordering enough components for a further 10 by the end of 2023 and 24 in 2024.

Wayland says that it has also doubled the size of its production facility, added an inspection and workshop area and plans to build a new applications and R&D center in 2025.

The company’s Calibur3 additive manufacturing (AM) machine can produces parts in refractory metals such as tungsten and reflective alloys.
