Verder Scientific has agreed to acquire all shares of Chinese company EZ-mat and become its sole owner.
EZ-mat, which has 35 employees, is a distributor of material testing equipment in China and already represents two of Verder’s product lines for metallographic preparation and hardness testing: ATM and Qness.
Verder Shanghai Instruments and Equipment Co Ltd, Verder Scientific’s company in China, currently maintains four offices with a staff of 50 in China. ‘The new setup will allow Verder Scientific to close more strategic, global deals with key accounts in China as the world’s second largest economy,’ the company said in a press release.
