Bornak succeeds Douglas M McSorley, who has left Universal Stainless to pursue new opportunities.
Bornak recently served as CFO for SeaChange International, and has also been CFO for Tollgrade Communications, Inc, Solar Power Industries, MHF Logistical Solutions and Portec Rail Products, Inc.
