The organizers of metal forming and finishing conference Fabtech 2021 have published details of two finishing workshops taking place during the event, taking place from 13-16 September 2021 in Chicago, USA.
The Industrial Finishing Safety Workshop, run by the Chemical Coaters Association International (CCAI) takes place 13-14 September and will focus primarily on NFPA 33 and will include a printed copy of the current NFPA 33 Safety Standards and Codes book. It covers subject such as electrical and electrostatic spray equipment, ventilation, fire protection and powder and liquid coating.
On 15-16 September a Powder Coating 101 Workshop will take place in Spanish (Básicos del Recubrimiento en Polvo 101 Taller en Español). According to CCAI, it is suitable for Spanish-speakers new to the powder coating industry or looking to develop more technical knowledge and skills. Attendees will learn about powder coatings and the processes involved and receive a workbook of all the presentation slides in Spanish.
