Subscription model 3D printing

SPEE3D says that one of its 3D printers will be available for use on a subscription basis at the headquarters of engineering company Nupress in New South Wales, Australia.

The cold spray printer could be used by companies in the mining, building, aerospace, defence, and medical industries, the company said. A selection of 12 different metals will be available, SPEE3D said.

The subscription model offers one to six slots, each delivering 25 hours per month of printing for 12 months.

“Democratizing access to SPEE3D’s WarpSPEED printer will help solve real-world problems around broken supply chains, manufacturing challenges, and massive delays for some of the world’s most significant industries,” said Steven Camilleri, co-founder and CTO of SPEE3D.
