The National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM) in the US says that it has added six new partners.
These are Advanced Technologies Incorporated, Aleph Objects Inc, Mission Critical Composites, MZA Associates Corporation, Verify Inc, and Youngstown State University (YSU).
- Advanced Technologies Incorporated (ATI) was founded in 1988 to provide engineering and fabrication research and development (R&D) services to the U.S. aerospace industry.
- Aleph Objects is a free software, libre innovation, and open source, hardware company that manufactures the LulzBot line of industrial desktop 3D printers and related accessories.
- Mission Critical Composites (MCC) is a composite manufacturing company that serves the commercial space market sectors and the warfighter by manufacturing critical flight advanced composites hardware.
- MZA Associates Corporation (MZA) provides directed energy weapons (DEW) research and analysis for a range of government projects.
- Verify Inc is a provider of supplier performance management solutions for aerospace, high technology, and quality critical applications.
Youngstown State University (YSU) is an urban research university dedicated to STEM—Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics and it has particular expertise in all phases of advanced manufacturing, especially additive manufacturing.
