Sigma Labs enters new phase of 3D printing

It plans to install an EOS 290 metal printer at its facilities in Santa Fe, New Mexico and couple it with all of Sigma Labs' proprietary quality inspection systems.

"With the acquisition of this state-of-the-art 3D metal printer coupled with our PrintRite3D technology, Sigma Labs now enters a new manufacturing phase, and enhances our offerings to the additive manufacturing marketplace for high-end, precision metal parts, said Mark Cola, president and CEO of Sigma Labs. “Once parts are in production, PrintRite3D will continue to contribute to their bottom line by reducing inspection costs and part rejection costs."

"Sigma Labs remains committed to the successful commercial launch of PrintRite3D Inspect and PrintRite3D Deform. [...] The timeline for the machine deployment aligns well with our planned launch of PrintRite3D Inspect and PrintRite3D Deform over the next six to nine months, respectively.”
