"The 2022 financial year was characterized by a large number of crises,” said Dr Arno Roth, CEO. “The war in Ukraine and the embargo against Russia weighed heavily on the global economy. Nevertheless, 2022 was a very successful year for Schunk overall."
The company says that it expects its 2023 sales to increase to more than €1.5 bn.
In other news, Schunk will appoint Peter R Manolopoulos as its new CEO in November, succeeding Dr Roth. Manolopoulos was previously COO of the company.
