Sandvik has appointed Stefan Widing as its new president and CEO.
He will take the position from 1 February 2020, succeeding Björn Rosengren, the company said.
Widing was previously executive vice president of Swedish security company Assa Abloy and president of HID Global Corporation, a technology division within Assa Abloy.
