Stephen Pickles, process development technician at Renishaw has received an award for his dedication to STEM education outreach.
According to the company, Pickles has volunteered as a STEM ambassador for four years to school students in South Wales.
‘I was inspired to become an engineer because of a STEM engagement program,’ said Pickles. ‘I've dedicated myself to bringing this same benefit to other people. Engineering is a brilliant career path that means you can be hands on, practical and creative.’
