Renishaw at dental show

AM company Renishaw will demonstrate 3D printed metal parts at the Dental Technology Showcase (DTS), taking place 12 – 13 May 2017 at the NEC Birmingham, UK.

Visitors to the stand will be able to see Renishaw's metal 3D printed removable partial dentures (RPDs), known as LaserRPD. The company will also exhibit its range of framework materials including LaserPFM cobalt chrome, Realistic translucent zirconia, Zr100 zirconia, PM100 PMMA and WX100 wax.

Renishaw will also exhibit its craniomaxillofacial (CMF) implants at DTS. These implants can improve accuracy and efficiency when compared to traditionally made implants. Computer aided design (CAD) can be used to create bespoke implants, which can help reduce surgical time and improves clinical outcome.
