Organised by the European Commission, together with the European Chemicals Agency, the conference aims to focus on the 2010 registration procedure, both in terms of early results of the REACH regulation and in terms of process. The conference will highlight what went well and where improvements are needed to ease the way for the 2013 registration deadline. There will be contributions from industry, the European Commission, the European Chemicals Agency, and the European Parliament. A spokesman for the ECHA said: “All REACH stakeholders such as authorities, industry associations, workers associations, NGO's, and non-EU countries are invited to attend.“ The conference will be held on 23 September at the Charlemagne Building, Rue de la Loi 170, 1000 Brussels. The event will also be webstreamed.
