Höganäs has completed construction of its fine powder atomization building in Pennsylvania, USA.

According to the company, the 24,000 ft2 facility will expand its alloy production for the surface coating, metal injection moulding, and additive manufacturing (AM) markets.

Höganäs can now make finer powders for high velocity oxy fuel (HVOF) and high velocity air fuel (HVAF) spraying as well as high-speed laser cladding technologies require finer powders less than 53 µm.

The company also offers powder and feedstock for MIM and powder for binder jetting 3D printing.
