Wall Colmonoy has launched a new range of wear plates for the petrochemical industry.

According to the company, the ColWear plates are produced using proprietary nickel and cobalt alloys, with optional tungsten carbide using vacuum-furnace production technology.

Wall Colmonoy says that the plates are also suitable for chemical processing, power (waste to energy, biomass), steel, cement and mining. The ColWear plates are lighter and more uniform than traditional chromium carbide or tungsten carbide plate, according to the company.
