The Powder Coating Institute (PCI) has released a new video focusing on the durability and weatherability of powder coating when compared to liquid paint. The video series aims at providing powder coaters with marketing tools to promote the benefits of powder coating and to educate consumers about the benefits of powder coated products.
PCI has also introduced a PCI Certification Program promotional video, which features three PCI certified companies discussing the certification process. The program offers two certification types: PCI 3000 Certification applies to custom coaters and PCI 4000 Certification applies to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
’We hope the PCI Certification Program instills a sense of continual improvement throughout the powder coating industry, which is beneficial to both consumers and the entire industry,’ said Trena Benson, PCI’s executive director.
