Partnership covers medical AM

EOS, medical manufacturer Tecomet, Canada-based Orthopaedic Innovation Centre (OIC) and 3D printing specialist Precision ADM have partnered to cover all stage of medical device additive manufacturing (AM).

This includes product design, process development, large-scale manufacturing, testing, validation and US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) submission, the partners say.

“The advantage for medical OEMs is a significant reduction in product development lead-time, and a reduced time to market and overall risk, while leveraging the most recent manufacturing innovations,” a press release said.
