Online ferrous powder course

The APMI has released details of a new self-study course covering iron and steel powder metallurgy, available online.

According to the organization, the course will cover the practical processing of iron and steel, looking at the behavior of ferrous materials in a variety of manufacturing processes, along with market data.

It includes 10 pre-recorded segments that average 60 minutes each, available to the student for two months from the date of purchase.

The APMI says that the course is suitable for materials engineers and technologists; mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, process, and aerospace engineers; quality assurance engineers and technologists; and management and overseers of powder metallurgy organizations.
