This year, the group will focus on advanced characterization techniques in hard materials, as well as other topics such as modelling, surface modification technologies and material properties in harsh conditions. “The aim of the meetings is to bring together experts in a particular theme for in-depth discussion of technical issues at a precompetitive level,” a press release said.
