Metal chemicals company OM Group Inc plans to change its name to Vectra Co.
The company will also move its corporate headquarters from Cleveland, Ohio to St. Louis, Missouri. Vectra will comprise three businesses, Vacuumschmelze, EaglePicher Technologies, and Borchers.
‘The relocation and the name change to Vectra are emblematic of the new strategic direction we are undertaking to accelerate the growth of the businesses and drive them to their full potential,’ said Jim Voss, the company’s president and CEO. ‘The name VECTRA symbolizes our renewed focus on driving this growth and operational excellence across all of the businesses.’
VECTRA also announced three new appointments to its senior leadership team: Edward Yocum, executive vice president, general counsel, chief compliance officer and secretary, Gary Westbrook, senior vice president and chief information officer and Nancy Stemme, senior vice president, human resources.
