A new company has been formed in the UK to develop technologies and systems to help transition vehicle internal combustion engines to hybrid, full battery electric, and fuel-cell power.

The Thermal Management Solutions Group incorporates the Dauphinoise Thomson, Magal and Wahler brands under one company and has a projected total revenue for the current financial year of around £150 million. It will employ more than 800 people in Brazil, China, France, Germany, the UK and the USA, according to the new company.

‘We have the people, expertise, skillset and global footprint to provide thermal management solutions to enable our automotive customers to transform their engine offerings and meet the demand for lighter, more fuel-efficient and environmentally-friendly vehicles,’ said Paddy Lange, VP global engineering and sales.
