Shimadzu Scientific Instruments and Oklahoma State University (OSU) have joined forces to help establish The College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology’s (CEAT) Mechanical and Physical Properties Testing Lab.

Shimadzu says that the lab features a range of its materials testing instruments to allow students to characterize materials by using an array of scientific techniques.

Shimadzu instruments includes an energy dispersive x-ray fluorescence spectrometer and six universal test machines.
