New powders for AM

Sandvik says that its range of Osprey metal powders now includes nickel-based superalloys and titanium.

According to the company, the new powders can be used to produce light and durable components with internal geometries that can maximize their performance characteristics, making them suitable for use in demanding industries such as aerospace, automotive and energy. The company’s additive manufacturing (AM) site also includes a wide range of AM processes for metals so that it can help tailor the powder to any printing process.
