MPIF has released new material property data for its 2018 metal injection molding (MIM) standard.
The data covers MIM stainless steel (MIM-420 HIPped & HT) and is an addendum to the 2018 edition of MPIF Standard 35-MIM, ‘Materials Standards for Metal Injection Molded Parts’. The new data provides minimum and typical mechanical property data tables in inch-pound and SI units.
The new standards data is posted here and, according to the MPIF, the PDF may be copied and sent to design engineers and others that specify MIM parts, and can be included on specification prints.
