According to the company, Gardner will be responsible for expanding applications for new and existing surfacing and thermal spraying techniques, such as laser cladding, plasma transferred arc (PTA), high velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF) and spray and fuse coatings. He reportedly has over over 23 years of experience in these technologies for oil and gas, mining, agriculture, and aerospace applications, as well as in training personnel, and designing and installing thermal spray systems.
