America Makes plans to run a course in additive manufacturing (AM), taking place in Youngstown, Ohio, USA, in March.
The Advanced Curriculum in Additive Design, Engineering and Manufacturing Innovation (ACADEMI) course entitled Metals Design for Additive Manufacturing, is open to both members and non-members of the 3D printing institute and will be held from 5-9 March 2018. It will explore advanced design with a focus on new regions of design spaces, engineering, manufacturing, and processing techniques for AM with metallic materials.
Participants in the course should have two years professional experience or production-level experience with AM and traditional manufacturing technologies. It costs US$7,999 per individual with an introductory discounted rate to both members (US$5,600) and non-members (US$6,600) for the first 10 people to register.
