MPIF appoints board chair

Blaine A Stebick, vice president of Phoenix Sintered Metals, has been appointed chair of the MPIF technical board, the organization reports.

He succeeds Russell A Chernenkoff, chair of AAM–Powertrain, who had chaired the technical board since 2003. Stebick has served on the technical board since October 2000 as a representative from MPIF’s Powder Metallurgy Parts Association (PMPA). In autumn 2016, he was appointed roadmap chair and led the effort that resulted in the second update (2017) to the MPIF PM Industry Roadmap that was first published in 2001.
