MIM2019 attracts 150 attendees

MIM2019, the International Conference on Injection Molding of Metals, Ceramics and Carbides, reportedly attracted over 150 attendees representing 95 companies and 15 countries.

The conference took place in Orlando, Florida during the last week of February. It kicked off with keynote speaker Robert Dowding from the US Army Research Laboratory who discussed the synthesis of materials and the fabrication of parts and components from these materials.

In all, the conference included of 21 presentations while 28 companies showcased their products and services during a tabletop exhibit.

For the third year in a row, the Metal Injection Molding Association provided seven students with a grant to attend the conference and present a technical presentation.

MIM2020 will take place from 2-4 March 2020, in Irvine, California, USA.
