MetShape joins European Space Agency project

Metshape, a 3D printing company that makes small and micro parts, has received funding from a European Space Agency (ESA) business development center in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

“Currently, additive manufacturing technologies on the market face the challenge to provide high-precision micro parts with superior surfaces,” the company said. “MetShape’s unique know-how and capability of controlling its manufacturing process can solve this challenge and therefore the start-up could provide space organizations with high-quality metal parts.”
