AIMS wants to promote its Sagittite range of nickel based alloys, which combine powder metallurgy with a hot isostatic process (HIP).
“We are now actively seeking international partners that can support us in developing new business channels within the plastics, powder coating and food extrusion processing sectors,” said AIMS sales director, Paul Young.
AIMS is also developing its near-net shape capability, a process which uses powdered metal to form a solid structure and allows components to be manufactured without the need for second stage machining. This technology is increasingly offering further opportunities for sales growth.
