AMC produces high performance ultrafine particulate reinforced metal matrix composites, comprised primarily of aluminium materials, for the automotive, aerospace, defence and precision/high speed machinery industries.
AMC will be managed through the Beryllium and Composites segment of Materion, and its product line is said to be complementary to Materion's powder metal-derived beryllium metal-based product lines, including AlBeMet.
