Markforged founder appointed to AM board

Metal additive manufacturing (AM) company Holo has appointed David Benhaim, co-founder of Markforged, to its board of directors.

Holo currently makes 3D printed metal prototypes using its PureForm technology, which can produces parts with features smaller than 50 microns.

It would like to scale up its capabilities and “take its place in an increasingly noisy marketplace”, the company said.

“Holo has built a technology platform that enables 3D printing of fine-featured metal parts with the precision and surface finish to make them production-worthy as printed,” said Benhaim. “When I saw that, I realized that this company can take digital manufacturing of metal parts to the next level.”
